The Callback Connection feature allows you to initiate connection establishment from USBDeviceShare Server. This feature is useful in scenarios where the server is behind a NAT or firewall and cannot accept incoming connections. In Callback connection mode the client waits for the connection while the server initiates the connection.

In client UI, select the 'Wait for Server Connection' option from the Client menu as shown above. In the resulting window (shown below) provide the port number on which the client should wait and click the OK button. The client will now wait for connection request from server.

In server UI, select the 'Connect to Client' option from the 'Server' menu as shown below.

In the resulting window, provide the client name (or IP address) and port number.

Server will now connect to the client which is waiting for incoming connections. Once the connection has been successfully established the shared USB devices at the server will be displayed in the client UI.
