Capture directly to file

This feature helps you to capture device traffic directly to a specified file in your system. The user interface will not be updated during capture operation. The captured data will be directly written to the file. To enable this feature click the 'Capture Directly to File' option in the Capture menu.

Like background capturing, capturing directly to file results in high performance capture sessions. Since captured data is directly written to file without buffering in memory, this feature helps you to debug faulty/unstable systems where system crash or reboot is likely to happen while capturing is in progress.
