Trigger conditions can be set so that USBTrace will stop capture operation once those conditions are satisfied. To set a trigger, open the Trigger dialog. Trigger dialog can be opened by clicking the Set Trigger button in the Log menu or by clicking the graphic icon.

A Trigger can be set based on the following parameters:

1. Completion Status of the Request (Success, Failure or Both)

2. Direction of data flow (IN, OUT or Both)

3. Presence of Data Buffer (With Data, Without Data or Both)

4. Request Type (URB Type, Internal/User mode USB IOCTL Type, PNP/Power IRP)

The Activate Trigger check box must be checked to enable Trigger.
